After spending three unforgettable days in Mumbai, a whirlwind of memories and experiences, it was time for me to embark on my next adventure: Goa. While I had enjoyed my time exploring Mumbai’s vibrant streets and iconic landmarks, the allure of Goa’s alluring beaches and captivating beauty was calling me. I had dipped my toes in the waters of Juhu Beach, my first ever beach experience, but now, Goa was poised to welcome me with its unique charm.
With a mixture of excitement and anticipation, I found myself not just flying in the plane, but floating above the clouds. Goa held a special place in my heart, as it does for many Indians, especially among friends. The imagery of Goa had been painted by movies like “Dil Chahta Hai,” and while those films often depicted crowded clubs and bustling parties, my journey to Goa was driven by a desire to explore its serenity.
Though I had seen Goa portrayed as a land of crowds, clubs, and pulsating nightlife, I was embarking on this journey with a different intention. I sought Goa’s serene side, its untouched beauty that whispered tales of relaxation and tranquility. The crowded scenes from the movies were set aside as I focused on the Goa that would offer me solace, sandy shores, and the soothing symphony of waves.
